‘I love to work with many mediums within my practise, as I’ve always been very expressive and experimental and I like to give myself as much freedom as possible. I paint, draw, create clothing and write - but no matter what materials I create with, I always find myself coming back to photography year after year. It’s been a constant in my life for the past six years - I’m self taught and found learning the technical processes and theories behind film photography one of the most rewarding things in my life so far. At times photography feels like an obsession for me. I love shooting film the most, in a documentary sense - taking portraits of my friends, events, myself and people that I come across in life. I feel extremely attached to photography and feel that it is the medium that allows me to express myself creatively the most. Most of my visions/ideas/concepts arrive into my mind in the format of a photograph almost always. I do photography both as a job and in my own time for my own enjoyment purely, it is always with me. Digital and film portraiture photography is my speciality within art.’
